For Stuffing

Peanuts -1/2 cup

Jaggery -1/2 cup

Cardamom powder -1/four tsp

For Dough

Processed rice flour/idiyappam flour

Gingelly oil -1-2  tsp

Salt-1/four tsp

Technique 

For stuffing

👉Dry roast the groundnuts for couple of minutes, take away the pores and skin and put aside to chill fully.

👉In a mixie jar add the roasted peanuts,  jaggery, cardamom powder and powder it coarsely (use the heartbeat or whip button on the mixie). Put aside.

Stuffing or puranam is prepared.

For Outer Dough

👉In a vessel add processed rice flour, gingelly oil, salt and add sizzling water little by little and make a tender dough. Cowl it with a moist material  for five minutes then as soon as heat sufficient to deal with knead properly to a tender dough .

For Modak/ Kozhukattai

👉Now take small lemon sized balls from the dough, flatten it a bit in your palm, preserve the stuffing within the center shut the dough make a ball once more.If you’re utilizing the modak mould preserve the modak ball contained in the mould gently press it and make to modak / kozhukattai form .

👉Steam these modaks for five -7 minutes.

👉Serve.
